I want to start off by saying that my husband was manager at Rock City a bunch of years ago and he has fond memories of dropping by Oscars bar and just hang with the staff. Unfortunately our experience was far from positive now. I don't mind the outrageous prices, this is Bangla Road and it's my choice to pay, but when waiters approach you to play games and mention you buying them drinks if you lose after you've already started the game..I dunno, man. It's honestly not cool. And no, all bars don't do this. Usually they are very up front about what is expected, don't fall for it. Charging for the toilet when I'm a customer at the bar also feels outlandish. How desperate are you really? Maybe the place changed owner, I dunno, but honestly there are better places to go to. Stay away, it's a Russian roulette if you get a positive or negative experience out of this place.

Be aware of this place. They ask you to play connect 4 - if you lose then you buy shots for the bar staff but they don’t tell you how many. They tried to bill us 3000 baht which we declined. Scam artists.

One of the best bars on Bangla! The staff are so welcoming, not pushy like other places! They remember you when you return and make you feel so special. They show every sport you want and nothing is too much! Wouldn’t go anywhere else to watch English premier league!!

Had a great time with all the staff! Lots of laughs and drinks going around! Played pool and a few dice games. Ladies are not pushy like other places. Conventionally located right on the corner of Bangla and the main street. Lots of good people watching. Just a great time!

Good music. Pole dancers and live performance. Only thing which we din like about was the waitress asked to play Connect 4 and if we loose we had to buy more shots. Luckily we realised this was a scam to rip off money. So we politely paid the bill and exited this place. Location was good, first pub in Bangla road.
