Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and LanternPass (“LanternPass”, “we”, “us”, “our”) governing your access to and use of the LanternPass website and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing the Service, registering an account, submitting a listing, or otherwise using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

The Service is restricted to adults aged 18 or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that your use of the Service complies with the laws of your jurisdiction. You also represent that you are accessing the Service voluntarily, for lawful personal purposes, and not on behalf of any minor.

We may verify or re-verify age and identity at our discretion. Accounts or listings found to misrepresent age will be removed without notice and may be reported to authorities where required by law.

LanternPass is an aggregated directory and search interface that helps users discover publicly listed adult-oriented venues, agencies, and independent providers in Thailand. We present information that has been (a) sourced from public listings and approved partner feeds, or (b) submitted directly by independents and venues for inclusion in the directory.

We do not:

• Book, schedule, arrange, or confirm any appointment or meeting.
• Act as an agency, broker, intermediary, or representative for any provider.
• Collect, hold, or process payment for any services rendered by providers.
• Verify, guarantee, or warrant the conduct, identity, photos, claims, measurements, pricing, or availability of any listed party.
• Participate in or supervise any interaction, communication, or transaction between users and providers.

Any “contact” or “inquiry” feature on the Service is a convenience tool that hands off communication to the provider’s own stated contact channel (e.g. their messaging app, email, or phone). All arrangements thereafter are entirely between you and the provider.

Some features (including saving listings, contacting providers, and self-listing) require an account. You agree to provide accurate information at registration, to keep your credentials confidential, and to be solely responsible for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that we reasonably believe are fraudulent or unlawful, or that have been inactive for an extended period.

Independents and venues may apply to be listed on LanternPass. Submissions go through a moderation review before publication and may be rejected, edited for clarity and compliance, or removed at any time at our sole discretion. Approval does not constitute endorsement.

By submitting any content (text, photographs, measurements, service descriptions, contact details, or any other material \u2014 collectively, “Content”) you represent and warrant that:

• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You own the Content or have all necessary rights, licences, and consents to submit it, including consent from any person depicted.
• The Content is accurate, not misleading, not defamatory, and does not infringe any third-party rights (including privacy, publicity, copyright, or trademark).
• The Content complies with all applicable laws, including those concerning advertising, adult content, and human trafficking prevention.
• The Content does not depict, describe, or solicit anyone under the age of 18.

You retain ownership of your Content. By submitting Content you grant LanternPass a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt for formatting, and distribute that Content as part of operating and promoting the Service. This licence ends when you remove the Content, except to the extent it is already incorporated into backups, caches, or third-party platforms outside our reasonable control.

The following are strictly prohibited on the Service. Violations may result in immediate removal, account termination, and \u2014 where appropriate \u2014 referral to law enforcement:

• Any material depicting or appearing to depict anyone under the age of 18, or soliciting information from minors.
• Trafficking, coercion, exploitation, or any non-consensual activity.
• Sexually explicit images involving genitalia, penetration, or other content prohibited by our publication standards.
• Content that is fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or that promotes hatred or violence against any person or group.
• Impersonating another person, agency, or brand; using someone else’s photos without consent.
• Posting another person’s private contact information without their consent.
• Scraping, copying, framing, mirroring, or republishing any portion of the directory for commercial purposes without our written permission.
• Automated access (bots, scripts, crawlers) outside what is permitted by our robots.txt and rate limits.
• Attempting to interfere with, probe, or compromise the security or integrity of the Service.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with any other user or provider. The Service does not vet, screen, background-check, or otherwise verify the parties listed in the directory. You must use independent judgement and exercise reasonable caution, and you agree to comply with all applicable laws in connection with any interaction or transaction. LanternPass is not party to, and has no responsibility for, the outcome of any arrangement.

Certain optional features may be offered for a fee (for example, premium directory placement for venues and independents, or enhanced search/saving features for users). Where fees apply, the price, billing cadence, and any auto-renewal terms will be disclosed at the point of purchase. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; LanternPass does not store full payment card details.

Unless otherwise stated at purchase, fees are non-refundable once a feature is activated. We may offer refunds at our discretion for clear billing errors, accidental duplicate purchases, or service outages of material duration. Requests should be made via the contact channels in Section 14 and must include the transaction reference, account email, and reason for the request.

All design, branding, text, layouts, taxonomies, software, and aggregated database content of the Service are the property of LanternPass or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Except for your own Content and any content marked as public-domain or open-licensed, nothing in the Service may be copied, reproduced, republished, scraped, mirrored, or otherwise exploited without our prior written consent.

The Service may link to third-party websites, communication tools, and content. Those destinations are not under our control; we are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Following any external link is at your own risk.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

We make no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, legality, safety, or quality of any listing, provider, venue, photo, measurement, price, availability, or other Content shown in the directory.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LanternPass and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Our aggregate liability under or in connection with these Terms, for any cause whatsoever and regardless of the form of action, will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount, if any, paid by you to LanternPass in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LanternPass and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (i) your Content; (ii) your use of or interactions through the Service; (iii) your violation of these Terms; or (iv) your violation of any law or of any third-party right.

We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Service, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms, for legal or regulatory reasons, or to protect the integrity or safety of the Service or its users. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms cease immediately. Sections 5\u201313, 15, and 16 survive termination.

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Service are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. The courts located in Bangkok, Thailand have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory consumer-protection law of your jurisdiction requires otherwise. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any competent court.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. These Terms, together with our Privacy Notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and LanternPass concerning the Service.
