Read the listing type
A self-listing is submitted through the app. Cards use Freelance for a basic self-listing when neither Featured nor Verified applies. A profile page can also use Freelance when no primary venue is attached. It describes the listing’s presentation here, not a verified employment relationship.
Avoid unsupported categories
Photos, clothing and location cannot establish that someone is a freelancer or works independently. Do not infer service terms or personal circumstances from a venue’s general category either.
Check who the contact represents
A venue may answer for a roster member. The profile’s Message button opens a chat whose header identifies the destination. Check that header before sending; a practitioner’s name on the page does not mean the chat reaches a personal account. Sending requires a LanternPass account; an email address is not required.

ຄຳຖາມ
- Does self-listed mean independently verified?
- No. Self-listed describes the submission route. Read any verification label separately and do not treat it as a guarantee of all profile details.
- Can a photo identify someone as a freelancer?
- No. Appearance does not establish someone’s employment or contact arrangements.
