Pride Bar Samuiはチャウェンのストリップにそのまま面して開いている。敷居にはレインボーの布が広がり、花台が、暗くなったあと紫と青に光る部屋を縁取る。ネオンの「Pride:」の看板が、チェッカーの床を越えて、籐椅子と明るいクッションのある薄暗いラウンジへ人を引き込む。天井扇は吊り下がるガーランドの下で回り、ディスコボールが壁いっぱいに色を散らす。 中では、ストリングライトとステージのスポットが、ビール瓶と人で埋まったバーを照らす。外国人の来訪者とタイ人の常連がスツールで肩を寄せ合い、開いた正面のすぐ外にはスクーターが止まっている。多言語の歓迎の書きなぐりが梁を上っていく。ソファは赤と紫の光の下で低く沈む。長居するためにつくられた部屋で、急ぐための部屋ではない。 これはビーチが空いたあとのチャウェン。観光客の多い島のナイトライフで、ゆるく、急がない熱がある。人が暮らしているような、社交的な、ゲイにやさしいサムイ島の一角がほしいときに入ればいい。カウンターにはワイン、会話は近く、ファンのすぐ向こうで通りがざわめいている。

I visited on a slower day which is more my vibe. Was fun chatting with people, just hanging out and listening to great music in a safe welcoming atmosphere. Definitely will be back on my next visit to Ko Samui

Was here on a Karaoke night. Nice people, everyone is welcome. You can use the billard pool table, a giant Jenga tower and a sort of mini games. You can easily connect to the guests here.
