Club GEMS karaoke bar & Lounge sits tucked into Sukhumvit 33 Alley in Watthana — a side-soi pocket between Asok and Phrom Phong where the strip energy softens and the night turns private. The Japanese カラオケバーラウンジ tag fits: this is late pour and closed-door singing, not a tourist walk-up on the main road. Photos show a blue-lit bar over black marble — crystal tumblers, GEMS coasters, a wall of whisky and umeshu catching the glow — then VIP rooms that shift with the party: leaf-wallpapered booths for two or three, a purple booth under a crystal chandelier, and a max-ten red velvet U-lounge with gold walls and low tables. Mirrored ceilings and yellow cove light bounce over mics, shot trays under UV, and friends still going when the bunting is still up. Gems Karaoke Lounge became one of my favorite spots in Bangkok. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed — you sit at your table and sing from your seat, which makes the experience feel easy and fun rather than like performing on a stage. As a solo traveler, I loved how welcoming the place felt. The staff are genuinely friendly, which is why I kept coming back. It’s a great place to enjoy music, sing a few songs, and simply have a good time.

Very friendly staffs, you can also sing newer songs from YouTube. If you are travel alone as I, but also like sing karaoke not by yourself. This is a good option to pay a fee to have some fun together.
